Kansas City Snowbirds Arrive at Crane Lakes

We made it to Crane Lakes late Monday afternoon.  It was a beautiful warm and sunny day.

Crane Lakes is an over-55 golf course community where our friends, Carol and Richard, live and we've rented a home about 2 blocks from them.  We have a 3 bedroom home with a huge screened-in porch, which they call a Florida room.  It sits on one of the golf course's many lakes (for additional golfing fun) and on the fairway of the 16th hole.

Carol and Richard met us at our new home and helped us unpack the trailer and truck.  Carol was so sweet to make us dinner for our first night and it was great -- we were tired and starved. 

Richard had set up golf for Joe for the next day -- wow! that didn't take long --and Joe was glad to accept.
