Two BIG days in one: Halloween and Sabrina's 50th Birthday!

Today was Sabrina's birthday, so she got to pick all activities for the day.  We started by going to watch the Chiefs crazy game -- but no matter because in the end it looked like a big W for us!!

Then to Big Beach for fun in the sun.  First thing, Kathy got slammed by two huge waves in a row and came up laughing and spitting sand.  Here came the water patrol on a 4-wheeler to check on her and she got "cautioned" to be more careful.  Haha -- in trouble in the first 5 minutes on the beach.  No worries because a couple told her that was one of the more entertaining sights they had seen when she was trying to scoop huge fistfuls of sand out of her shorts!

The girls grilled steaks for Sabrina's birthday dinner while watching a beautiful sunset and we had a really fabulous dinner.

Halloween is a HUGE deal on Maui so those of us who hadn't been "overserved" during the day (and I won't mention any names here) headed out to Lahania for the festivities. There were thousands of people out on the streets. It was WILD and hilarious -- everyone was dressed up -- and here are just a few pictures:
