We had a very interesting, exciting, hectic and fun-filled 2+ weeks back home in KC.  Lots of great family time with our parents, siblings and kids and grandbabies and we really loved it!

The weather was not boring to say the least -- snowing when we got home, two major hailstorms, a tornado and temperatures ranging from 30 - 90 degrees (which explains the crazy weather).

And some big news -- we sold the house!  I'll tell you, selling the house when you're out of town is definitely the way to do it -- no constant cleaning, no interrupted evenings for showings -- our fabulous realtor took care of it all.  The inspection and appraisal went well, so when we get home next month we'll be packing like crazy to give possession to the new owners.  Looks like we're officially homeless.

Now we're back in Daytona for a shortened stay (due to the house sale) and we plan to totally chillax for the next 5 weeks before heading back to figure out what to do next.  We both seem strangely calm about the whole homeless situation and I love this retirement mode we seem to be in now.
