Oh-So-Busy Life

It's been a few days since I've blogged and that is because we've been so terribly busy with our retirement life :-D

The weather here has become quite sunny and warm every day -- as you can see below, we love it!

just to relax, read and listen to the ocean sounds

Joe has been golfing several times a week -- and I've even been golfing a bit lately.  It's been fun but I'm afraid Joe will have to step-up his golf ball fishing to find enough golfballs to support my golf game.

I mentioned last week that I thought I might like to trade in the truck -- what was I thinking?  I know better than to mention the words "new car" to Joe!  Within a couple of days, Joe got online, researched vehicles and traded in our truck for a Chevy Avalanche.

We had a really nice Easter.  Golfed in the morning with some friends and I'm telling you if the Easter bunny had hidden any Easter eggs out there, I would have found them all -- I was all over the course!  I haven't golfed with Joe for a while and all this golf he's been playing has made him so consistent -- he had a really good day.

After golf, we went to another friend's house for Easter dinner.  There were 15 of us and everyone brought their "specialty dish".  I made broccoli rice casserole (which is what I make every Easter at home) and it was a big hit.  Great fun and great food!
