Carol and Richard Fly(!) In

Carol and Richard made it to Maui!  We went to meet them at the airport and were told that their flight would be coming into the Commuter terminal.  We'd never been there before so we drove from the main terminal to the Commuter terminal and found a rep working at the desk who told us we were at the correct terminal.  Great!  However, the flight was a little late and when I went to ask about the flight, that same rep ran out onto the runway to guide in their airplane.  Wow!





They both thought this was great fun, although a little shaky from all the high winds we've been having, and they loved sitting right behind the pilot and co-pilot watching all the instruments.

We took them to a little beach to watch the sunset, which started out slow and then became all lavenders and purples -- and made the water the most amazing colors.




After the sunset, we went to Lahaina, had dinner at Cool Cats and Lappert's Ice Cream for dessert -- yum yum.  So glad they're here :)
